Help Fight Malaria

The Against Malaria Foundation logo

Your used ink and toner cartridges could raise up to Β£2.00 each, and unused cartridges up to Β£50, for the Against Malaria Foundation.

They save lives by distributing long-lasting anti-mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria.

So far we've raised enough to distribute over 124,000 nets thanks to your generosity. Read more about their work.

Free and Easy

Our services are completely free — we cover the cost of a pick-up, a convenience store drop-off, or in some cases we can collect directly in our vans.

Reduced CO2 Footprint

Recycling saves up to 2.5kg in CO2 — otherwise cartridges take 1,000s of years to decompose in landfill.

Recycle Any Cartridge

Even if your specific cartridges aren't eligible, we'll advise you on other recycling options.

cartridges4charity Printer Cartridge Recycling for Charity

Since 2003 cartridges4charity has been helping consumers and businesses to recycle used inkjet and empty laser cartridges, and full/unused surplus cartridges to reduce your carbon footprint, and help raise funds to pass on to charities. The project is operated by Seriously Easy Ltd, a limited company #SC469872.

Printing has significant costs on our environment — over 75% of our cartridges end up in landfill where they take thousands of years to decompose, so we encourage reuse or recycling of cartridges. Refilling cartridges reduces your carbon footprint, as up to 2.5kg of CO2 is saved each time a cartridge is refilled and reused compared to buying a new one.

And it needn't cost you the earth — all our services are free, and straightforward to use. So we'll offer you prepaid Royal Mail labels, a collection, or a local drop-off site for your items if we can reuse your items. If we can't accept your cartridges, we can point you in a useful direction so you can recycle them elsewhere.
