This service is operated by Seriously Easy Ltd (limited company number SC469872, trading as Cartridges4Charity.) Seriously Easy Ltd is not a registered charity, but provides services to help you raise funds for the Against Malaria Foundation with your items. Seriously Easy Ltd shall be referred to in these Terms and Conditions as "we", "our" or "us" and the seller or proposed seller of cartridges or other electronics as "you".
"Items" refers to any cartridges or other electronics that you send to us, or to our partners under our direction, for reuse, resale or recycling.
By contacting us or using this web site to undertake the services described therein, you indicate your acceptance of these terms.
The empty ink cartridge recycling programme we suggest you use is offered by BCMY Ltd trading as 'Recycle4Charity', and we are not involved in nor responsible for its operation. No endorsement is implied by us. Payments are made directly by BCMY Ltd to the Against Malaria Foundation, and we are not a party to any transaction you make with them. You are advised to carefully review their offering and any agreements you are entering into. We make no warranties or representations about the services offered by BCMY Ltd.
The empty toner cartridge recycling programme is offered by Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd. You are advised to carefully review their offering and any agreements you are entering into directly with the company by contracting their services. We are not a party to the sales transaction between you and Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd, but you agree that we may, for your convenience, raise an invoice on your behalf with Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd such that any recycling value for the items they collect from you will be donated to the Against Malaria Foundation. You remain responsible for any charges or additional services you choose to commission from Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd and we are not a party to these transactions. We make no warranties or representations about the services offered by Ink and Toner Recycling Ltd.
If we direct you to ship your items to us, your items are sold to Seriously Easy Ltd by you upon sending, and you agree that we may pass the value of your shipment to the Against Malaria Foundation (UK charity #1105319) on your behalf. We may raise a self-billing invoice on your behalf for this transaction. No endorsement by AMF is expressed or implied, and their logo is used for illustrative purposes only.
In the case that we ask you to ship your items to a third-party partner company instead (and your items are not purchased by us directly), you authorise us to raise an invoice on your behalf with that partner company that purchases your cartridges, requesting for the payment for your cartridges to be made directly to the Against Malaria Foundation (UK charity #1105319). We do not assume title to your items at any point when items are sent to a partner company, we are not a party to the sales transaction between you and the recycling partner, and we simply act as a free-of-charge service to connect you with this company that will purchase your items direct from you. We do so on the condition that the full value of your items is donated to the Against Malaria Foundation.
Our chosen beneficiary may be changed from time to time, and you are advised to check the web site before you send your items.
Please ask for a guide quotation before sending your items if you would like clarification on particular items. All items are subject to testing to establish their value, and the price offered for damaged or not-as-described items will be reassessed upon arrival.
In sending items, you agree that you personally (or you, in the capacity of the office you hold at your organisation,) own and have the right to sell the items.
Items sent cannot be returned unless previously agreed in writing. We reserve the right to refuse receipt of consignments that we have not authorised, or are materially different from what was authorised.
You must notify us before sending any items if VAT is due on the purchase of those items from you. If you send items without beforehand notifying us that VAT is due, you are responsible for remitting any VAT due to HMRC, and for attempting to collect any VAT due from the purchaser.
You assert that the items you send us are not counterfeit and were obtained from an authorised reseller of the brand in question, which you have records of. Should a claim arise about the authenticity of an item you have sent at any time and we request your assistance, you and your organisation will make all reasonable efforts including checking your purchase records, providing copies of relevant invoices and contacting your suppliers for this information if invoices are not on hand.
You must not send any items except those we give you explicit permission to send. If you send items we have not been advised of and authorised, you will be liable for paying the full costs of transport, disposal and handling.

Please see our partner web site EveryCartridge to environmentally dispose of any items that we cannot reuse. Whilst we will do our best to help you find other services to responsibly dispose of your waste items, this ultimately remains your responsibility, and such alternative services for disposing of your environmental and legal obligations may not be free of charge.
You are responsible for the items and their condition until they are received by us. It is strongly recommended that items are packed carefully in suitable containers to avoid damage. Cartridges should not be shipped directly in their packaging - they should be overpacked so that the cartridge packaging is protected during transit and arrives fully intact.
Our free shipping services do not include any insurance or cover for loss or damage, and we cannot take any responsibility for loss or damage to your items in transit. We suggest, at your discretion, that you arrange your own shipping service that provides you loss or damage cover for high-value consignments. Please make sure that you retain an official written receipt or similar from the carrier so that you can claim in the event of loss or damage to items in transit.
If we arrange to collect your items and the weight, quantity or dimensions of your parcels are materially different from that indicated by you, or outside the limits we inform you about, and we are charged extra handling fees by our carrier, we will reduce your quotation for the consignment to include these costs.
All items sent to us should be accompanied by the relevant account number, reference or label, clearly visible and legible, on the outside of the package as indicated in the instructions given to you from us by email, with an additional copy of this information inside the package. If items are not clearly marked when they are received we cannot be held responsible for any problems with the processing of these items, and you may not receive credit for these items.
It may take up to 8 weeks from when we receive your items to process them. You will receive written confirmation (by email) of items as they are received and processed.
We offer no warranty or guarantee about our services, which may be withdrawn or changed without notice. Our maximum liability to you, except as otherwise required by law, shall be the discharge to our chosen beneficiary of the value of the items received.
If any clause in this agreement is deemed unenforceable, it shall have no effect on the enforceability or applicability of the other clauses contained therein.
We may alter this contract from time to time. Any changes will be shown on this page of our web site, with the date of last alteration at the top of the page. You are advised to check it each time you use our services before sending items.
